Edmonton Oilers Community Foundation Proudly Supports Child Nutrition Programming - Breakfast for Learning receives financial gift to help deliver school nutrition programs in Northern Alberta

In recognition of the generous donation of $25,000 by the Edmonton Oilers Community Foundation, the Alberta Chapter of Breakfast for Learning hosted a Cheque Presentation Ceremony at the ABC Head Start program located at Weinlos School on November 17, 2010.

“Helping children and youth achieve their full potential is a priority of our community investment program,” said Natalie Minckler, Executive Director of the Edmonton Oilers Community Foundation. “We understand the importance of child nutrition programming and want to help ensure that children in Alberta attend school well-nourished and ready to learn.”
Since 2006, the EOCF has invested $125,000 in the Alberta Chapter of Breakfast for Learning.

“The Edmonton Oilers Community Foundation has been a generous supporter of Breakfast for Learning, and on behalf of the Alberta Chapter and the children who participate in nutrition programs, we thank you for this tremendous gift,” said Ardyth Garrison, Chapter Chair.
