CCF Bocuse d’Or Canada has partnered with Breakfast for Learning to celebrate our country’s talented chefs and culinary arts, while supporting community-based child nutrition programs. The partnership will unite a love of food and Canadian cuisine with Breakfast for Learning’s vision to ensure every child in Canada attends school well-nourished and ready to learn.
A world renowned culinary competition, Bocuse d’Or showcases celebrated chefs from twenty-four countries around the world as they compete for top prize in Lyon, France. Founded in 1987, the event occurs every two years, and is the most demanding competition in the world. With the help of their title sponsor, Moxie’s Classic Grill, CCF Bocuse d’Or Canada takes to the world stage at Bocuse d’Or to showcase extraordinary Canadian chefs and the exceptional agri-food products of Canada.
Gearing up for an exciting partnership, CCF Bocuse d’Or Canada and Breakfast for Learning will kick-off the culinary celebrations over two days on April 29th and 30th, 2010. Events include a captivating evening of unforgettable cuisine in Toronto where guests will have the opportunity to meet 2011 competitor Ryan Stone, and excite their senses as top Canadian chefs compete at George Brown College for the chance to represent Canada in the 2013 Bocuse d’Or competition.
