BREAKFAST FOR LEARNING ALBERTA

Breakfast for Learning Alberta is committed to helping start and sustain child nutrition programs, ensuring that students are well-nourished and ready to learn.  To apply for a grant, please read the following for more information, deadlines and application forms.

Funding Criteria

Nutritional grants in Alberta are available for breakfast, lunch or snack programs offered in the school setting, during regular school hours.  For our full funding criteria, click here (PDF).

For first-time applicants:

For Re-applying Programs:
In order to re-apply for a Breakfast for Learning grant, the following documents must be completed:
Grant Renewal Application (PDF)
Progress Report (PDF)
Financial Account Summary (PDF)

If your program does not have registered charitable status, then copies of all receipts must also be included with your financial accounting.

Application Deadline
October 15, 2010 for 2011 grants.

Any application received after the scheduled granting deadline will be returned, and asked to re-apply for the next granting deadline.
