BREAKFAST FOR LEARNING ALBERTA
Canadian Living Foundation (BFL) supports Breakfast for Learning Alberta by providing the nutrition program grants, and by supporting the Breakfast for Learning Alberta Advisory Council and its work. Nutrition programs in Alberta Schools have been provided with funding since 1996. The Alberta Council was formed in May 2003, and now reviews all Alberta program grant applications and makes recommendations for funding, in addition to advocating for healthy nutrition for all school children.
Breakfast for Learning Alberta is financially supporting 199 schools located throughout the province running 288 nutrition programs.
