Nutrition Education Makes the Grade
Each year, the Breakfast for Learning Progress Reports reveal a consistent theme or outcome among participating schools.  Last year these reports revealed a growing awareness of the connection between proper nutrition and a child’s capacity to learn and thrive.  In 2008/09, the prevalent theme was an increased sense of school community.  This year is no exception and the most consistent outcome was a widespread commitment to incorporating nutrition education into school food programs. Read more.
