Breakfast for Learning First Annual Golf Tournament
Join us on Tuesday September 21st, 2010 as Breakfast for Learning hosts an exclusive, inaugural golf tournament at the prestigious Glen Abbey Golf Club.
Our goal is to raise $100,000 in support of breakfast, snack and lunch programs in communities throughout Canada. The event will be an exciting opportunity for Canadian business leaders to golf for a worthy cause, make important business contacts and have fun.

Join us at Vinyl 95.3FM's SUMMERFEST on July 1, 2010
On Thursday, July 1st, 2010, pack up your friends and family and head over to Woodbine Park in Toronto for SUMMERFEST 2010. Breakfast for Learning's media sponsor, Vinyl 95.3FM - playing the greatest hits of the 60's, 70's and 80's, will be hosting a FREE live outdoor concert from 12 noon to dusk. The event will feature music by David Clayton-Thomas of Blood, Sweat & Tears, Glass Tiger and many more. In addition, Maple Lodge Farms will be bbq-ing, kids (big and small) will be entertained in the Family Fun Zone and Canada Day celebrations will be capped off with the biggest outdoor disco dance party and a fireworks display at dusk. Most importantly, there will be activities throughout the day that you can participate in that will help to raise funds in support of child nutrition programs across the country.
VOLUNTEERS NEEDED: We are looking for energetic volunteers that can help Breakfast for Learning raise awareness and funds for child nutrition at SUMMERFEST on July 1, 2010. Three Boys, One Birthday Party, Hundreds of Healthy Meals Served
For the third year, Jacob, Jack and Jamie will be celebrating their birthdays in support of Breakfast for Learning. Over the past couple of years close to $2,000 has been raised to help feed students nourishing meals. This year's celebration will be happening on July 3rd and in lieu of gifts, donations will be accepted and will benefit the student nutrition program at Ryerson Middle School in Hamilton, ON. Ladies Golfing FORE Child Nutrition
Members of the Carnmoney Golf & Country Club will be hitting the green in support of Breakfast for Learning programs in Calgary, Alberta. A tradition for over 20 years, the annual Ladies Member Guest Tournament will be held on July 6th, 2010.

Everyone's Talking About Entertaining with Salad
Introducing a new recipe book to help you entertain and at the same time give back to your community. Diana Gallacher and Nancy Boeckner, the creators of Everyone's Talking, Entertaining with Salads - the first in a series of elegant, gourmet cookbooks - are raising money in support of Breakfast for Learning. Diana has been a Breakfast for Learning volunteer for over 10 years developing two nutrition programs in her children's schools in Hamilton, Ontario.
