Breakfast for Learning PEI accepts grant applications from new and existing programs once a year. Breakfast for Learning grants provide partial funding for food, equipment, and program operation costs to groups who are operating, or plan to operate, breakfast or snack programs for school-aged children and youth. These grants should not be the major financial source for your program. Other funding partners must be included to ensure the program will be sustainable.
To be eligible, programs must:
- be offered on a regular basis (minimum 2 days/week)
- be available for everyone to attend
- feature nutritious foods
- have parental and community involvement
June 1, 2010
